This year’s Oscars ran its course. Slumdog was expected to win and it. But I have my take on it. The Best Picture? No frigging way. Come to think of it I liked Benjamin Button better and Milk too. But the theme of the Oscars was the underdog and it surely did win. Rehman deservedly won the award for his foot tapping music though there is this nagging feeling that his earlier work was far superior. Perhaps, this award was a compilation of all work.
